Frontpage 2003 - no help

Diana

Just installed FP2003. It tells me there are no office assistant files on
the system, yet there's help (and assistants) for my XP versions.

It says "Please run setup in maintenance mode and install at least one
character". I don't know what that means. I did a "repair", but that didn't
help.

Any ideas out there. Has anyone else had this happen. Does anyone know
what they mean by running setup in maintenance mode.
Thanks, Diana

Hi Thomas,
I already tried that ... all of the office assistant were told to install to
the computer. I basically did a custom install, but told everything to
install onto the computer, with the exception of maybe one thing (dont'
remember). It's a mystery.

Go to:
Control Panel
Add/Remove
FP
Change
Add/Remove Features
Office Shared Features
Office Assistant
Select one or more of the choices

I would put the ionstallation disk back in, there must be
a "maintenance" selection there.
