Office 2007 and inserting JPG

I am trying to insert a jpg into a new email from outlook 2007, sp1 (Vista
SP1), but when I send the email, 2 things happen: 1. The graphic is blurry,
and 2. the graphic is listed as an attachment (image001.jpg)...

How can I insert a graphic (jpg, png, or gif) so that the graphic is not
blurry when received by recepient?

Is the .jpg fine when you view it in your sent items? If yes, then it is
something either the mail server, the recipient's server, or the recipient's
mail client is causing.

Oh, and ensure you don't have an AV scanning your outgoing mail.
