OE6 very slow after import of folders

OE6 has become extremely slow after importing my folders from the store
directory.
 
Problem solved. Removed Norton Internet Security 2004 and reverted back to
NIS 2003.

Any suggestions on how to make NIS 2004 work without messing up OE6?
