I am trying to transfer the e-mail from Outlook Express 6 on one computer to
a Vista machine and import them into Outlook 2007. I have had no luck. Any
suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hi, how can I stop the "<" sign from coming up every line?

Thanks in advance,

Garry.

Do you mean the ">" character used for marking quotes?

Disregard all the above, here is a simpler way:

Import Addresses from Outlook Express to Outlook 2007
'How to import addresses from Outlook Express to Outlook'

Import messages/Account from Outlook Express to Outlook 2007
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA100799191033.aspx

Incidentally, this process also works with Outlook 2003 on Vista. The only
thing is that the OL2003 import UI doesn't actually present you the option.

You select Import from OE, it doesn't find an OE identity, you click OK, and
then OL opens a new window that allows you to select the store folder.
Then you can proceed.

It is not necessary for there to be an OE identity on the system to perform
the import.

Tools, Options, Send, Mail Sending Format, Plain Text Settings,
uncheck the last box.
