Good Evening,

This morning I downloaded an attachment file after that I lost the Sent
Items folder and only I have "inbox". I received under these followeing
mail:
"

Dear .....,

To help protect our users from automatically generated junk e-mail (or
spam), MSN Hotmail periodically asks for identity verification.

Please go to http://www.hotmail.msn.com and follow the instructions. It
takes only a few minutes and you can then return to using your Hotmail
account.

Thank you for helping us to help reduce your junk e-mail.
Sincerely,
MSN Hotmail Staff

Please do not reply to this e-mail as this is an unmonitored alias."

"I changed the password through IE but I am unable to access my account
always it shows the following message:

To continue, type the characters that you see in this picture.

This helps to ensure that a person, and not an automated program, is using
this service.

I can't see this picture.

Characters are not case-sensitive. "

Please help me to solve this problem.

Regards,

Gab

Did you scan the attachment for viruses? Did you *KNOW* the sender? If
not, why did you click on the attachment?

Do a Virus scan NOW.

Other Hotmail in OE users experienced the same problem today. Just go to
www.hotmail.com and sign in. When you next poll the Hotmail account in OE,
you should have everything back (though you may be missing 'Message Read',
'Replied to' and/or 'Forwarded' symbols).

Now the problem is solved. When I access my account from another computer.

However I do not know the real cause of this problem. Only the particular
e-mail addresses have problem when I reply or send a mail. I cannot send and
suddenly I lost the "Sent Items" , "Deleted Items", Bulk Mails. And then I
received a mail every time I open the OE. Only the solution for me is use
another computer and access the account.

What I am thinking is, if someone blocked my address or reported spamming
does bring this problem.

If you have any idea please let me know.

Regards,

Gab

On the problem machine:

IE Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>Sites> type in

hotmail.com
