OE Incoming Mail Server Password

I am having a problem with Outlook Express 6 remembering my password for my
Incoming Mail Server. OE remembers my password to connect to the internet
via my dial-up connection. But despite making sure that the "Remember
Password" box is checked for the Incoming Mail Server user name and password,
under the Servers tab in the Properties for my mail program, it won't
remember it. Every time it keeps prompting me for the password. Can anyone
help me?
