I just installed a program I had on my XP Machine. I tried using it & I
received an error message a little box pops up labeled (Object Windows
Exception) in the box it said GDI Failure ok to resume? The program ran
fine on my W-98 machine. Can anybody tell me what this means? or if I should
ask in another newsgroup? TIA

Hi,

It probably means the program is not WinXP compliant, and may require an
update from the software vendor. You may also need the hotfix mentioned
here:

MFC applications leak GDI objects on computers that are running Windows XP

Thanks. I thought it might be something like that, but wanted another
opinion. When I tried searching GDI failure, I was getting waaaay toooooo
much info. Thanks again.
