Numbered list automatic page breaks

I am working with a numbered list and it is automatically inserting page
breaks in strange places. How do I stop that?
 
Are you using heading styles for the numbered paragraphs? If so, note that
Headings 1-4 are formatted as "Keep with next," so they will sticl together
until you interject a paragraph that is not so formatted, which is the first
chance Word gets for a page break.
