Ntldr is missing, press ctrl+alt+del

I got this message after deleting AT&T Yahoo Internet sofware and restarted
my computer. XP came preloaded on my Sony Vaio desktop computer so I don't
have an XP boot disk but I do have a laptop that runs XP that I am using
right now. I copied the ntldr and ntdetect.com onto a cd-r. What can I do
next?
