ntbackup in XP Pro

I have just discovered that when I try cataloging a backup file that had
been stored on a DVD but was moved to my hard drive, ntbackup goes through
all the steps, but the dataset never shows up in the left-hand pane that
lists media items. This worked before.

I found the problem. Backup lists the catalog under the file name found in
the backup file, which is different than the name displayed in Explorer. I
add a date and time to the file name, and that name is the one I was looking
for.
