Novell Network Drive latters

Keith

I have a new XP machine connected to a Novell network with the latest
client software.

Everything has been fine.

But yesterday windows explorer stopped showing the drive letters for the
various Novell drives. Normally there were 5 drive letters assigned to
various areas of the Novell server, but now there no drives assigned at all.

The server is still accessible through My Network places, but programs
that referred to their data files by way of the drive letter no longer work.

Why have the drive letters gone, and how can I get them back?

regards

Keith

If there is no mappings via login scripts either Netware or Windows then
recreate it manually using either *net use* command or GUI as r-click My
Computer or Network Places/Map network drive.

Novell does have drive mapping in the login script. They all worked
initially.

I don't know why the suddenly stopped.

Restart Netware server. I would check Novell web site and
microsoft.public.win2000.netware NG.
