No Windows Help and Support

Hi,
When I try to get "Help and Support" going nothing happens. This happened on
another machine and I fixed it through the Registry but I can't recall now
the whats and wheres. Any ideas?

Try going to run,type:services.msc In msc scroll down to help/support double
click on it,then set to auto,then start service.

See if these commands help, from Start, Run dialog:

helpctr -regserver
regsvr32 itss
regsvr32 hhctrl.ocx
regsvr32 jscript
 
Thanks for the advice - and maybe I should my brain checked out. Why didn't I
think of that?

Also, apologies for the double-posting. I know they're irritating. However,
it's been such a long time since I've been to one of these sites I completely
forgot they were normally moderated and hence the postings delayed. I thought
I must have inadvertantly cancelled the original posting, so wrote another
one. It really is time I get my brain checked.
