No Volume

I repaired my operating sytem and now when I start the pc I can not adjust
the volume and the pc can not find the modem in my pc. It tell my I have a
TC/PIP connection. Any ideas?

Did you re-install your device drivers for sound and your modem? Windows
autodetects many devices, but not all.
There might be a second CD you have to run as part of your restore
procedure.

I only have one disk. :-/. When it was reinstalling, it said that
everything was finished, took me to the "Setting Up Your New Computer"
page and when I "finished" it went back to the blank desktop.

Thanks, but I only have one cd. I checked under system properties and it
says there is no modem. Any idea how I can get the drivers on my PC without
internet access?
