no sounds

my speakers that came factory with my emachine have stopped working from one
moment to the next. when i crank up the volume and put my ear to the
speaker, all i hear is a light fuzzy noise. ive checked all the connections
and their fine but like i sed they just stopped working on me. maybe blown?

most likely, you have somehow muted the system sound, go
to control panel (in start menu)
double click "sounds and audio devices"
On the volume tab, click advanced.
Make sure all the sliders are at the top, and none of the
mute boxes are ticked
