No sound

The other day my computer just froze to a black screen. I managed to get in
back to windows but stuff seems to be missing. I tried to smart restore but
that wont work. There is no sound on my computer. No sound devices seem to be
installed. I have the thunderball speakers that come when i bought the
desktop!?

If you haven't done it already, go through the Windows Help & Support dialog.
It can usually be found on your start menu.

For a quick check, look for a disk that says anything about sound or audio
on it that came with your computer. Try putting that in and reinstalling
your drivers. If you don't have one of those, try using the system restore
disk you recieved with your computer. Those usually have all the major
drivers on them if they aren't packaged elsewhere.
