No sound with ToggleKeys

I am running XP/SP-2. When I enable the ToggleKeys, I don't get the beeps
with Caps Lock. Any ideas?

Just a thought and it may not make any difference or be related but, in
Control Panel, go to Accessibility Options and go to the General tab, if
there's no check next to "Make a sound when turning a feature on or off"
under notification, place a check there and click apply. If there is a
check, remove it, click apply, replace the check, click apply and see if
that resolves the issue.

Beyond that, who is the manufacturer of your keyboard? It's possible that
either the keyboard isn't compatible with the feature or if there's special
software installed for the keyboard it is interfering with the feature.

Michael, I tried your suggestion, but it didn't solve the problem. I am using
a Microsoft Natural Multimedia Keyboard 1.0A. Thank you.

Michael, I removed the software and reinstalled it. I restarted the computer
and I still don't have any tones with the ToggleKeys enabled. I looked over
the other program, etc. that I have installed, and see nothing out of the
ordinary. I appreciate the effort that you have made to help me. Thank you.

You're welcome. Now the question, did you have the issue when you removed
the software before you reinstalled it.? If you didn't check, remove the
software, reboot, do not reinstall, see if you have the tones. If yes, do
not reinstall the software, it is clearly interfering with this operation.

Michael, I now have the software removed and I have rebooted, but I still
don't have the tones.

Michael, the event is not listed. I have assigned sounds to any and all
events that I thought might have something to do with this, but nothing
works. Thanks

The only other thing I can think of is perhaps you need updated drivers for
your soundcard or, perhaps, your soundcard doesn't support this feature.
You might want to check the soundcard manufacturer's website for the latest
XP compatible drivers. If you have the latest drivers, you might consider
removing the drivers and reinstalling them.
