Accessibility - ToggleKeys

ToggleKeys is a feature in the accessibility options that
lets you hear a sound when NumLock, CapsLock, or
ScrollLock is activated and a different sound when
deactivated. My issue is that my NumLock key makes this
sound even though the feature is turned off. None of the
other keys produces a sound and I have found no way to
reinstall the Accessibility options. I have tried
Scandisk, rebooting, checking the registry ( No ToggleKeys
appears in registry ) and banging on the keyboard.

The problem first arose after I did a maintainance
operation (Scandisk followed by disk cleanup followed by
defrag )

Try changing the Sound scheme in Sounds and Audio Devices to 'No Sounds' and then back to 'Windows Defaults'.
