Speakers plugged into the right jack on the card? Speaker volume switch
turned up? Speaker wire loose/broken? Try another set of speakers?

Yes they work and turn on fine. Neither my headset or speaker are coming out
with sound when playing music, sounds etc.

Everything was fine until i reinstalled the graphic card software.

Have you checked to see if the sound is muted someplace?.. like WMP for
instance..

It has nothing to do with your video card software. You can check to see if
your speakers and headphones work by plugging them into other devices. If
they work, the most likely cause of your problem is a misconfiguration you
have unwittingly made, or a loose wire.

Less likely causes are a damaged sound card or motherboard.

Recent Drivers installed. Doesent seem to be any program that is muting the
sound. Unless im missing sumthing. Yes the headset works in my cd player. So
i dont know what to do. Buy a new sound card? Seems like the last option.

Please Leave your suggestions.

Thanks for everyone who has helped.

Well Everyone after days of No Sound. I found the problem just an hour ago.
There was a program for the sound card that was hard as crap to find in the
program files. This program was kinda like an equalizer and it appears this
equalizer had to things on MUTE =) . I unmuted them and wait...no sound just
yet. So i looked around some more in the program and there was an option
that was checked for Digital Output Only. I unchecked it and then it came and
Fianlly i got my Sound Back.

Thanks everyone for your helpful Suggestions!
