No run scheduled scan

On Windows 2000 Prof. SP4 CZ, full patched OS, scheduled scans doesn't run.
Manual scans OK. Tested on 2 machines without sucess.

Engine Version: 1.1.1303.0
Definition Version: 1.14.1396.12

I am having the same problem with Windows XP - schedule scans not working.

I am also having the same problem with one of my machines (XP professional).
Updates work, manual scans work but scheduled scans don't occur. The problem
has been occuring since I installed WD about three weeks ago. The problem is
only on this machine. I'm not sure how WD schedules tasks but one thing that
I have noticed is that I have two examples of the Task Scheduler service
listed in my services, and neither of them was running. I have disabled one,
and made sure the other service is running, but this hasn't solved the
problem.
