Update

I have been running WD since it was first released by MS. I have frequently
updated and everything seemed well but now, I can't get it to update. I
even uninstalled and re-installed and have jumped through all of the hoops
including disabling my personal firewall (Outpost).
I have run Windows Update Express (no additional items needed)
I have run Windows Installer clean-up on the definitions
I have run the link frequently posted to remove definitions (Msiexec /x
{A5CC2A09-E9D3-49EC-923D-03874BBD4C2C})
I have tried to update by using the help/about area in the defender window
but nothing seems to help. It still states that I am 14 days since last
update (April 10).
My current values for WD are as follows:
Defender Version: 1.1.1347.0
Engine Version: 1.1.1303.0
Definition Version: 1.14.1396.12
Any further ideas?

Everything you wrote happened to me exactly as you describe. I find it hard
to believe we are the only ones. Hopefully MS will answer this soon.
