No Printer Spooler

I cannot add a printer and I get the message "Operation
could not be completed," and when I hotplug my printer,
it begins to install, but says installation failed "The
RPC server is unavailable." I do not have a Printer
Spooler listed in my Services. I do not know what to do.

Can anyone help me

Hey, I have the same problem and so far I have not found
a way to resolve it as of yet... I have posted messages
on here, but no good solution has come... What type of
printer are you using?

Ok, I have a Lexmark Z52. At least I know that the
problem is not just with Lexmark now.

If I learn of anything to fix this I will let you know.

I found a way to fix this problem. First you need to
back up all of your personal files, then you simply
format the hard drive and reinstall windows. It fixed
the problem for me.
