no mixer devices available.

Help...i have no volume and it says there are no mixer devices available when
i open my volume control....HELP!!
 
Go to Start/Run, and type DEVMGMT.MSC , highlight the Sound device, Action menu, "Uninstall", then restart Windows, to find the
device drivers again automatically.
