No longer able to use IE with AOL

Suddenly happened, I can still get onto the internet with AOL but when I
minimize that and open IE6 I no longer can connect to the web.
This is a recent occurrence *and* I have another computer in my house that
is *not* exhibiting this problem.

Any tips on solving this?

I'm clean of spyware and viruses, at least it appears so having run AdAware
and Norton.

Broadband, AOL 9, IE6, WinXP Home.
