problems with IE 6 running with AOL 8.0

2 weeks ago I upgrade from AOL 7.0 to 8.0 to get the
broadband connectivity. No problems were experienced.

Suddenly after 2 weeks I cannot now run IE 6.0 via AOL
8.0. Page not found message is displayed.

Aol 8.0 browser is running quite happily. I can shell into
dos and use the ping command successfully.

I have installed SP1 for IE6, which made no difference and
I have tried running opera as my browser but his also
fails to connect. As usual AOL help failed to live up to
their name.

Any clues please ?
