I'm switching from AOL 8.0 to Comcast broadband. When I launch IE 6.0 SP1
XP it does not connect to the web, I receive the DNS error page. I can
connect to AOL using the broadband connection and I can ping sites from the
command prompt, so the broad band connection is working properly. Also, I
can read my Comcast e-mail using Outlook. Is there something in AOL that is
preventing me from using IE to connect to the web? I've looked around, but
I couldn't find anything obvious. The Comcast tech support wants me to
remove AOL, but I'd like to solve the problem without removing AOL.
P.S. Are there any tools that will migrate my AOL address book to Outlook?
Thanks
