Help resetting Microsoft IE as default browser

K

Kathysum

I have a roadrunner cable broadband connection which I
use for most of my work online. I keep an AOL account as
a backup in case my cable connection is ever down and I
need to dial in. I recently upgraded to a newer version
of AOL 8.0. Now everytime I open a HTML link in my
Outlook Express it launches my AOL Log-In. I need to
reset my Microsoft IE 6.0 as my default browser. Can
someone tell me how to do that? Thanks

Hi Kathy - Open IE6, Tools|Internet Options|Programs Check "Internet
Explorer should check to see . . . " Then when you get the message,
select it as the Default.
