Page never able to be displayed

All of a sudden my IE6 refused to work, where ever you try
to go it says the page cannot be displayed. I got rid of
all my spyware, viruses, tryed to reconfigure things,
redownload it. Nothing's seemed to work. I ended up
having to set up msn explorer to be able to get to the
internet but it's just not the same. I also use aol but
since ie6 is out of service so is the web via that. It
seems also my buddylist for aol is effected b this as
well. Any ideas?

I have had the same problem (also AOL user) and even
uninstalled AOL and MIE and reloaded from a brand new AOL
disk and still no dice. When I try to reload MIE from the
microsoft page the window closes itself immediately.
Research tells me it's something called the "favorite man"
parasite that can damage MIE.....but I have done EVERYTHING
suggested to fix it, even remove almost every program from
my computer, run the Spybot software (which says there are
no parasites) and download AOL from new disk after
completely removing it from the computer. Nothing has
worked and Netscape is not the same. HELP!

Hi, Wish i could help. But I am having the same problem.

Thats the same thing thats happened to me and i've had
friends try to help figure it out but can't its also meant
i have had to use netscape and to tell you the truth IE
compared to netscape makes netscape look like a piece of
crap. IT SUX!. So please someone help us out and tell us
how to fix this problem even by email or on here thanks.
