ZERO MAN

When I shut down my computer (in Windows XP), the
computer will turn off. In about 4-5 seconds, it turns
itself on again, I depress the power button and it will
turn off again...only ro reboot again in 4-5 seconds. I
usually have to turn the machine off 2-3 times before it
will stop. What's causing this, and how do I fix it?

More than likely this is a hardware issue, not an XP issue ... You should
contact the manufacturer of the PC or, if you have a NIC card, the NIC card
manufacturer (since some NIC cards come with a remote power on feature that
does malfunction on occasion) ... Either one my have an update for you to
resolve this issue ...
