No Design Mode in Frontpage.

FrontPage design Mode.

I have two installations of office2003 and FrontPage. Two computers
similarly configured.

On one computer FrontPage works normally, on the second computer I get the
FrontPage Design mode choice only if I start a new Page, any page that was
previously done and saved will come in HTML Mode with No Design Choice (the
whole Menu Bar that includes the working modes is not there). I ran the
repair using the installation CD and it did not help. Any one knows how to
correct this behavior?

TIA

Jack

You are experiencing a problem that probably only Microsoft support can help with

In your other thread you have patiently tried just about every "fix" known by several MVPs including myself to attempt to narrow
down the cause of the problem
- you are the 1st user I have encountered that has experienced this type of problem (no Design View on new clean pages after a save
in FP)

It appears there is something corrupt (probably in your OS) that only a registry dump may reveal to experts with the tools to
analyze it (or find the differences in your 2 PC's)

PS
Probably the only one not tried is to see if somehow your IE has been corrupted thru malware / spyware
Try http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx

IMHO
I would open an online support incident w/ MS support (explain the trouble shooting steps you have taken to date)
Try the Email support option at
http://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?ln=en-us&c1=505&prid=6690&gprid=36059
