No cd drive

I did a clean install to win 2000 and now the cd-rom drive is not
accessable.

How do I create a bootdisk so I may try to install win2000 again?

thanks

On tip 2067 in step 1. I type in the following and get an error message
CD-ROM:>\bootdisk\makeboot A:
Cannot find the file 'CD-ROM:>\bootdisk\makeboot A:'(or one of its
components).

You're meant to do this:

- Start a Command Prompt
- Log on to your CD ROM drive (often drive D:)
- Type the command

\bootdisk\makeboot A:
