NN_WebBand

Chuck

There is this toolbar that came up on my Internet Explorer
after I visited a website that I don't remember, but this
toolbar does not dissappear after I uncheck it under the
toolbar option list under view, because it just checks
itself immediately, also I tried reinstalling explorer and
that did not get rid of it, and I cant find any files on
my computer called NN_WebBand or mirar(label on the
toolbar). So, how do I get rid of this annoying thing?

Chuck,

First, scan the system for parasites and remove them. SpyBot S&D searches your harddisk for Spyware and Adware
http://security.kolla.de/

&

Adaware (similar)
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
(Remember to perform a Webupdate to have the latest definitions installed)

This will remove malware from the PC.

Get ToolbarCop:
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k

ToolbarCop removes the Toolbars, Toolbar buttons and unwanted menu-extensions from Internet Explorer. It does not remove the spyware from the system entirely.
