How do I remove Mirar from IE Toolbar

B

Bama Browser

I think my son dowloaded something from the web which
added something to my IE toolbar, and I would like to
remove it. It might have came from Yahoo. The name on
this add-on is Mirar and it seems to "advertise" links to
other websites. It also takes up space in whatever
website I am trying to view. There is a selection on View-
Toolbars called NN_WebBand which stays selected even when
I click on it to try and deselect it. I think this may be
related to the Mirar add-on. Any suggestions for how to
remove this thing from my toolbar?

Mirar Toolbar is a Internet Explorer toolbar that has been reported to
stealth install.

Get ToolbarCop:
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/utils/ToolbarCop.exe

ToolbarCop removes the Toolbars, Toolbar buttons and unwanted
menu-extensions from Internet Explorer. It does not remove the spyware from
the system entirely. It is advisable to run Ad-Aware scan
(www.lavasoftusa.com), if the toolbar entries are not removed.
