Hello,

I am building a new computer but I'm going to use the same hard drive I have
Win XP Pro installed on right now as the boot drive and a larger SATA drive
as storage. I am getting a new motherboard and CPU and I have read on
Microsoft's site that I might have to do a reactivation with my product key
because a new motherboard can be considered a new computer. My question is
will this cause me to buy another license if I use the same hard drive with
no formatting with the new motherboard and CPU? I bought it retail when I
was a student in college to get the student discount price and I don't want
to spend another 80 to 100 dollars on a OS that I already have.

Thank You! I know know exactly what to do and I don't think I'll have to buy
another license.
