new form isn't visible in the Printing Preferences

Hi all,

I've installed HP LaserJet 1000 on Windows Vista Home Premium (which
runs on a Dell notebook). I've to add two custom print sizes 1)- 9x3
2)- 3x9. So in order to do that I went to Start >> Settings >>
Printers >> Right click >> Server Properties and I added and saved
these two forms.
However, when I go to Start >> Settings >> Printers >> Right click on
'hp laserjet 1000' >> Click 'Printing Preferences' >> then I select
the "Paper" tab from the top >> Within the "Paper" tab there is this
drop-down besides "Size is" >> I click on this drop-down but I don't
see sizes that I just defined as new forms.

So my problem is that I want to print using custom sizes i.e. a)-9x3
and b)- 3x9 using 'hp laserjet 1000' on vista premium home. How do I
go about that?

Please help me. I've lost enough hair and I've thoroughly searched
internet but nothing worked. I will appreciate all the help.

You are not asking a Windows Vista question, but a question on how to
print using your printer.

I would suggest you find an HP printer support group somewhere.
