New Computer Will Not Shut Down !!

What do I do I hit shutdown and the screens go to saving files then
screens go black then 2 seconds lare it reboots !

Fic p4-865pe 2.6 proc. 512 ram Ati 8500le Video card !

It was shutting down ok then quit shutting down any thoughts ?

You could have a system error occurring when your system is shutting down.
Try disabling the automatic restart on system failure function and see if
any error messages are generated. Go to control panel/system properties and
click on the advanced tab. There click on the "startup and recovery" button
and clear the check box under system failure for "automatically restart"

I tried that and it didn't work !

Any more thoughts I don't have any conflicts in device manager ! got
all the drivers too install !
