Networking 98 to 2000

Having trouble accessing my 2000 laptop from 98 PC, PC to
laptop no problem. All files shared properly or so I
think. How do i turn off all security controls in 2000 so
this does not happen again.

What is the "trouble" you are having? Error message?

Log on to your Windows98 machine with the same user name
and password as in Window 2000 machine.

You could enable the guest account on your W2K computer, keeping in mind that it is a
security risk - especially if a firewall to the internet is not used. See link below
