network subsystem failed

working on a computer with Xp pro sp2 and msde 2000 sp3. When i run my app I
get the message Error124 network subsystem failed 10050. I tryed netsh to
reset but It did not help.

I'm not sure what error 124 is but I do know that 10050 indicates "the socket
operation encountered a dead network".

#define WSAENETDOWN 10050L

Sounds like you have intermittent network faults
but I need to know what error 124 is before I can be sure.

Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Error Reporting -> Choose Programs
-> Do not report errors for these programs:

Acrobat.exe
waol.exe
