Network Sharing Password, but none have been set!

Hi, i am wanting to connect wirelessly to another computer on my network, i
can connect my desktop to my laptop fine, but when i do it the other way, it
asks me for a guest password, but none has been set? any suggestions or
solutions?

If simple file sharing is being used, authentication is done on a guest
basis. If using XP Pro, make sure simple file sharing is turned off in
Folder Options> View. If using XP Home, simple file sharing is the default
model of sharing. Check out the following site for setting up shares with
