Hi all

Can any one describe correctly what happening?

We have onboard lancard (Via Technologies) and installed os Win XP
it is connected with 10mb hub , and all time blink that cable unpluged, but
small files(100kb) can download.
other comps works with this hub well.

With 2nd 10mb hub it work correctly(no problem)(but this is not our).

With 100mb hub it detect speed, but not receave any data.

With 100mb switch work if i set netspeed 10mb.

provider sed that this computer work fine with 100mb on Win2000.(?)
but now we want understand what happening ?
is it WinXP problem or lan driver ?

It could also be a cable problem. Incorrectly wired cables (correct
electrical connectivity but not making proper use of the twisted pairs
within the cable) can result in this kind of behaviour. I've seen cables
that work ok on 10mbps but don't work on 100mbps

other computers work well with this cable
so it is not cable problem
