Network printer

Hi gurus

I have windows 2000 server, I installed a printer using its ip address,
everything is fine, from the server I can print a test page and comes out ok,
now that I want to installed the printer into the workstation there is a +
sign right beside the server in which the printer has been isntalled but when
double click nothing opens, Can someone help on this please.

Hello naguaramipana,

On the client machine you have to go to Printers, add printer, network printer
and fill in the ip address of the printer. After that you will be asked for
the model and drivers (if not included by windows) give a name etc. Then
you can use it on the workstation.
