Network Printer problem!

Hi, Ive just bought a 4-port router with a built in printer server. I've got
to computers connected to the router that can connect to the internet. I've
set up the printer (Epson stylus C60) and both computers can recognize the
printer. When I try to print the following message appears "the port is not
compatable please run wreset", I run wreset in cmd promt and then the printer
works until I turn or restart the computer. How do I fix this problem? Also I
can only share files when Norton Internet Security 2004 is disbaled I think
it's due to a firewall problem!
Can anyone please help me it would be really appreciated?

Hi, thanks for the website, it was helpfull as I nearly got it working,
whenever I try printing now it will print without any error message appearing
but it will print out all the abc crap e.g. "ab2sfielal;qjd"
