Network Printer problem with XP

We have 2 network printers that are in the network over network cables not
shared printers.

When I install XP + SP2 I can print to the printers over IP address eg
192.168.0.80
After microsoft automatic updates ca 35 I can not PRINT.
I can ping the printzer I can enter the control program over the IE but I
can NOT Print, the print job is not sent to the printer and an error message
is displayed in the printer spooler.

When I share the printer (printer installed on Server) and then shared, I
can print.

This has happened on 3 PC's now, I have reinstalled XP and then found that
the problem occurs after the automatic updates.

What has been changed in the updates? and how can I get me printers to work
again.

You may need to enable ports blocked by the SP-2 firewall. Some of the UNIX
(as in TCP/IP printing) standard ports are disabled.
