Greetings !!!!
I am an old goat, but new to computers. That said, I
would like some opinions about .Net Passport, both pro
and con. Knowing the nature of those who provide things
for free to think if you accept their gracious offer,
then you should not complain if they in turn expect you
to grant them whatever it is that they wish to do.
In the world of computers, this usually seems to mean
that they will be installing spyware and worse on your
computer, if you accept their offer. Just wondering
if .Net Passport would be sticking their nose in places I
do not care to have their nose stuck.

No spyware or anything like that in Passport. It is a convenience for the
you if you use it. It makes it easier for you to do business online with
companies that use passport on their websites. You can store login
information. At one time you could store credit card information in your
Passport account also, though that service has been discontinued. If you
set up a passport account you can choose whether or not any of your
personal information is shared with others. I have set mine to share no
information.

Thanks, for the almost immediate reply.
Now that you mention it, seems like I do recall that .Net
Passport credit card fiasco. The only thing that would
concern me is if that little check mark somehow got
unchecked, purely by accident, or for YOUR conveniance.
Like I said, I'm an old goat and suspicious to the point
of being paranoid when it comes to matters of trust.
Again, thank you for your reply.
