Microsoft.Net Passport login box

not sure this is the correct forum but
I hope someone can help me
For some reason today, A Microsoft.Net Passport login box keeps popping open
on my computer screen.

This is the text on the top of the box below

(Please sign in with your Microsoft.Net Passport. If you have a hotmail
account, you can sign in with your Hotmail e-mail address, and password)

Can someone tell me how to stop it happening. I have done a search on the
net, but have not been able to find anything about it. I also tried the
Microsoft.Net Passport website, but there is nothing on there too help

Thank you in advance for ant help or advice you can offer me
