Ebay & .Net Passport Sign-in

When I try to log into my EBay account using my Microsoft Passport
information I am directed to a page http://msauth.ebay.com yada yada yada
that never loads or gives me a timeout message. I've added *.ebay.com,
login.passport.com to allow for my Privacy settings and to the Pop-up
Blocker as well.

Below is the response Email from Ebay Customer Support:

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to write to us with your concerns. I am
happy to assist you further.

The best thing to do is change your sign in to a regular eBay sign in
User ID and password, which you can do by following the steps below:

You can easily edit your sign in options. To do this, please follow the
steps below:

1. Click on "My eBay" located at the top of all eBay pages. You may be
asked to login.

2. Click the "eBay Preferences" link located under the "My Account"
heading.

3. Click the "change" link located to the right of "eBay Sign In
Preferences."

This will require you to use your Passport login to access the page. If
you have forgotten your Passport login or are unable to use it for any
reason, you will need to contact Microsoft Passport directly so you can
find out how to sign in successfully with your Passport account.

Once you have signed in to eBay using your Passport email address and
password, you will see that you have the option to default to eBay or
Passport as your sign in preference. Choose eBay, and then click the
Save Changes button, and Passport will be deactivated on your eBay
account. You will now be able to sign in using your regular eBay login.

I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place because I cannot find support on
the Passport site either.

Any thoughts / suggestions short of opening a new EBay account would be
appreciated,

Chad,

The instructions worked for me. After clicking the "eBay Preferences" link
located under "My Account" and then clicking the "change" link located to
the right of "eBay Sign In Preferences" heading, you must then sign in with
your eBay password (keep the 'Keep me signed in' box unchecked). Now I
scrolled down and there were two options 'eBay User ID and password' &
'Microsoft Passport' > 'Save changes'. Where are you stuck at?

I would hope that it would return something for me to work from but no luck. The progress bar appears to be complete but it still shows opening page http://msauth.ebay.com....

I tried from other PC's as well with the same results.
