Hi,
Can anyone explain the following to be please!
I have a .net passport setup on XP. If I go to user accounts and select my
account and then "change my .net passport" it tells me what my passport is.
If I go to a website such as Microsoft that uses a passport I find myself
signed on so it would suggest my passport is working.
The thing that really confuses me is this....
If I go to user accounts, select my login and then go "manage my network
passports" and then go to "stored user names and passwords" I see my
passport. If I then remove my passport from here everything else seems to
work as before but the passport is not shown in that window anymore? What is
it that causes this field to be populated? The reason I ask is that on my
in-laws PC that use passports I see nothing under "stored user names and
passwords yet their passports work fine!
Any help appreciated.
Regards,
Paul
