A computer has two versions of .NET Framework installed,(English)V1.0.3705
and V1.1, both with hotfixes.Are both versions required? My computer has only
version 1.1 installed.

As far as I can see from here, no .NET is required at all for to run
Windows. Applications that need .NET should also run if only one
version is installed.

The 1.0. was probably installed by a third party. Then Windows Update
(non-critical) installed the 1.1. What I did was to uninstall all
instances
of .net. I then went to windows update and installed the latest. There
are probably other ways.
