.NET Framework 2.0

Installed the new .NET Framework 2.0
It didn't uninstall .NET v1.1 nor the 1.1 hotfix ....
Can I trash v1.1 and the hotfix ?

Depends. Some apps that were written to use 1.1 will work with 2.0, others
will not. I found one such app, so had to reinstall 1.1 for it to run. The
others were OK with just 2.0. So it is trial and error, depending on what
apps you have that use 1.1.

As far as .NET framework itself is concerned, yes, you can uninstall 1.1
without affecting 2.0

Thanks .... uninstalled it, cleaned it up and goofed around some......
things are fine so far.
heh, MSupdates now offers twenty some mBytes of .NET v1.1 along with this
past weeks releases of other trinkets.
