Nero or Xp problem?

Craig

Has anyone else run into this problem?
I have always used Nero 5.5 with my Toshiba Windows Xp laptop and
burned without problems, but since Dec 2005 the burner rejects all my
efforts to burn and the error message says I've inserted a Cd-ROM disc,

but needs CD-R/RW - although a Sony CD-R (700 MB) is in fact what I've

inserted for the burning.

Can anyone suggest who else i can write to for
help with this problem, is there a Nero support group and/or what is
their email address for technical questions, I find their website
dynamite to try and negotiate, cannot even find the place to download
their complete version 7 which I've already paid for, and can only seem
to get the demo version (which didn't need to be paid for!)?

I had NOTHING BUT problems with 5.5.

Get a copy of Nero 6 or later.
It's a MAJOR app and it's DIRT cheap.

You can find it on Amazon for $10 or less.
You can also find it on eBay, but Amazon will be more
reliable.

I've been ripped off several times with eBay.

Good luck!

Nero has had a problem with their registered version still showing Demo. If
you've entered your number then you have the actual version.

Not exactly a Nero support group, but they discuss Nero quite a bit at: --
