cd-r cd-r/rw error in Nero

Recently, I bought some memorex CD-R silver disks from CompUSA. They
burn fine on my laptop, and burned once on my desktop. Now, they won't
burn on the desktop. Any ideas what the problem is. Also, other
similar media (CD-R of gold color etc... won;t work either.

This medium is not writeable

Please insert a writeable medium


Medium required for the compliation: CD-R/RW

Medium type in recorder: CD-R

So are you trying to rewrite to a write-once (CD - R) disk or is your
desktop burner just not burning any type of disk?
